Amidst the snow...

...a new bike was born! I present to you all my new road/tri bike...The Iceman.

I know it's all about the engine powering it, but hopefully it will slice through the wind and tear up the roads faster than ever before. Known as an extremely aerodynamic bike, the Cervelo Soloist Team was the first of its kind and I'm really really excited to get it out on the roads.

Lauren joined John (the guy I bought it from) and I for the build early this week. It was a really great opportunity to learn exactly how everything on the bike works. Far and away the most challenging aspect was getting the damn tires onto the wheels. It took John and I pushing our hardest to get them both on. Luckily, the tube inside didn't pinch and I think they look great.

Besides providing brews to help us get through the 4 hours of building, Lauren was also instrumental in a few areas, most importantly putting on the bottle cages and and bringing trash bags to cover it for the walk home in the snow!
